Part of the dream for the future of EU MODEX is to expand the number of participating countries, capacities, and modules. Related Civil Protection exercises have already been taking place in many additional countries including North Macedonia and Montenegro. Many capacities which have been involved in these sister events have also take part in MODEX events and the participants had the chance to share the knowledge and skills which they learned during MODEX. To strengthen this exchange even more, the possibility is being explored to add these other countries, and capacities directly into MODEX itself.
