Live Event

What is it?

The idea of the THINK TANK itself was to provide a platform for discussion for a group of experts from various fields – not only from the European Union Civil Protection Mechanism (EUCPM) but also from research institutes, international organizations and companies. It was a possibility to exchange ideas and to think into the future of the UCPM and how to bring new approaches and technologies into the Civil Protection system of tomorrow.

The outcomes will be additionally presented in the framework of the 10 Years EU MODEX anniversary celebration, e.g., in the anniversary show on 27th of March at 19:00 CET. It might give impulses for new strategies and approaches in the UCPM.

At the same time the EUCP THINK TANK was a warm-up event for the EU Civil Protection Forum 2021.

WHO WAS PART OF THE EUCP THINK TANK?

The EUCP THINK TANK members are representatives from DG ECHO, from different member states, from the UN and experts from research institutes and companies. You can have a look on their vita below.
