Martin Thomsen
Martin Thomsen is a Head of College at the Danish Emergency Management Agency, Emergency Services College and Chair of the Board of Directors at the Sahana Software Foundation. He is since 2003 active as consultant and expert for the UN and since 2004 an expert in the EUCPM. In his functions he responded to several international missions and supported the mechanism as a trainer.
He has been part of EU MODEX since the beginning as Trainer, Venue Manager and in the Project Management.
What does EU MODEX mean to me?
Being part of the EU MODEX community means bringing the members states resources together to “train as you fight and fight as you train.”
What are my wishes for the future of EU MODEX?
My wishes for the future of EU MODEX is that the EU member states will continue to promote their good will in coming together as one entity in response to the increasingly dramatic impacts of extreme and unpredictable weather events. I wish that we will become stronger through unity as we continue to exercise together.
