Steve has worked for Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service for 28 years and he is currently seconded to National Resilience and therefore responsible for 20 UK fire service Urban Search & Rescue Teams.

EU MODEX exemplifies the strength and cohesion of the rescue community. The dedication and commitment of everyone involved is beyond comparison and I'm proud to be a part of it.
What are my wishes for the future of EU MODEX?
I have no doubt that EU MODEX will continue to grow and develop so that our people and teams are as safe and effective as possible, when called upon by those that are facing their darkest moments.
